  • Do I need to be able to swim? I've never done Yoga before?

    • It is optional to put your face in the water or submerge. it’s meant to be relaxing and fun, so go with the flow
    • Adaptations can be offered for those who can’t or dislike submersion
    • Adaptations are available to accommodate non-swimmers as well
    • You don’t have to be a yogi to participate in bumps2bambinos aqua natal yoga. In fact you don’t have to have stepped foot in a yoga class before, ever
  • Can I participate at any stage in my pregnancy?
    • You can start bumps2bambinos aqua yoga from 12 weeks with your midwife’s or Dr’s agreement, or 14 weeks without
    • You can attend bumps2bambinos aqua yoga throughout your pregnancy
    • bumps2bambinos adapt exercises according to any physical limitations or conditions you may be experiencing at that time
    • Exercises can also be tailored in bumps2bambinos aqua yoga classes to target any specific niggles and pains you may be experiencing
  • Do any conditions or medical ailments prohibit me from taking part?

    In short, if you have placenta previa, yes. You cannot attend before 32 weeks, unless your midwife signs you off as ok to attend a bumps2bambinos class.
